it ends up doing the trail backwards ... is very fun to play with the classical guitar.

Oggi ho fatto in venti minuti tre nuovi video di chitarra classica , tutti rigorosamente "buona la prima", tenendo gli errorini, i micro errori, senza editing e trucchi vari in modo da aumentare al massimo l'effetto live e l'effetto onestà : questo è il chitarrista Daniele Magli senza trucchi e senza inganni , senza dubbio un grande chitarrista ( modestia a parte :) )

L'ho già detto tante volte, che senso ha ingannare se stessi pubblicando su YouTube video falsi
pieni di editing e montati in varie sequenze ?

mah... non capisco !

Julia Florida di Agustin Barrios detto Mangoré , artista che amo

ma che soffro un po' nel senso che non mi è molto congeniale tecnicamente al contrario

 di Villa -Lobos e Tarrega per esempio che si sposano alla perfezione con le

caratteristiche delle mie mani e della mia tecnica chitarristica.

Con Julia Florida ho dato una buona interpretazione

smentendo in parte questo pregiudizio che ho di me stesso.




Il terzo video è  Solaris una mia nuova composizione per la raccolta

 SCI-FI STUDIES for classical guitar,

studi di fantascienza per chitarra classica.

Gli Studi di Fantascienza per chitarra classica

tutti dedicati ai film di fantascienza che per un qualche motivo

 mi hanno ispirato a comporre.

Si intitola Solaris ed è dedicato alla versione del 1972 di Solaris che

 da bambino mi faceva una paura tremenda quando lo facevano in televisione.

è un pezzo composto con la Alzapua technique,

la tecnica flamenco del pollice a pletro.

avevo già composto uno dei miei Lunar studies dedicati

alla missione Apollo, con questa tecnica.

Ma quanti sono oggi i miei  Sci-fi studies ?  vediamo…

Guitar Tremolo or Travel to Mars ?

Hello my guitar friends !


For many guitarists

learn the classical guitar tremolo seems to be difficult as a space travel to Mars.
But the tremolo technique is much easier than a cosmic journey !

And we are goin to Mars now !


first of all, and this advice is valid for everything you are considering:

live as if you were to die tomorrow
but studying classical guitar as if you were immortal

this is my great phrase, a great aphorism, I know, and
I have always done so.

the tremolo is easy if you study the 120 Arpeggios by Mauro Giuliani
and then these my compositions for the right hand technique:

1) Twilight

2) Soul Wind

3) Angels

4) Armstrong Moon

5) Serenity

6) Eclipse

7) Apollo 11

8) Astronaut Dance   ( for younger guitarist ! )


these pieces will make your perfect technique and your right hand a precision machine!

Tremolo guitar technique takes a year of trials constant, 15 minutes a day at least.
...do not cheat yourself, take up your clock, 15 minutes of "Sea of tranquility" , every day.


then you can play the most beautiful piece of easy tremolo ever made

but... there is a but !

after your tremolo will be carved and accurately it must will become musical and expressive.

espressivo very very artistic... dolce , rubato with legato di suono.

 that's the difference between me and some "players" barking... not, sorry, playing like dogs in the  Italian Guitar Forum
( and they are teachers in the Italian state school , incredible and shameful, but this is a problem that we have in Italy, there is no meritocracy )

sorry if I changed the subject... we are talking about Tremolo now.

you can have a tremolo expressive only when you know to be on rhythm and volume
piano, pianissimo, forte, mezzoforte as you wish you have to control with perfect nails
built on the shape of your fingertip and hanging.

always accompanied the ring finger of your right hand with your pinky

and then you got it, you play perfect Sea Of Tranquility
because the man went to the moon, and so you can learn the tremolo... with tranquility !

Viatge a Barcelona

Hola, estic intentant escriure en Català.
Jo era a Barcelona. Vaig arribar amb avió des de Venècia el 8 de març de 2013.
Barcelona és una ciutat meravellosa, Vaig anar a veure el Museu Picasso, la Fundació Miró, el Parc Güell, les cases de Gaudí, El restaurant 4 Gats..... També vaig veure Messi i Iniesta Camp Nou ( Barcelona - Deportivo 2-0 ) !

Vaig estar a Barcelona per motius de guitarra clàssica espanyola,
però també per fer turisme per Barcelona és una ciutat bonica i et recomano una visita!


Espero haver escrit en correcte Català, i us saludo a tots els amics de Barcelona .... ens veiem aviat!

Many people ask me "how do you compose a piece of music for classical guitar?"

I do not have the answer about what is inspiration,

I do not know what is genius, 

and where they come from musical ideas.

since I was 14 years old I had in mind as it should be my composition for classical guitar.

Undo editsSo I felt the bass continuum and the open strings but I could not do any thing good.


when I was 14 years old I played a piece very near to my composition  "Apollo 11"

with the thumb plectrum technique

but the problem was I was not so good with my guitar technique and 

I was not able to play it !!!

to compose for clasical guitar you have to be experct 

composing music, is to be a musician, and you need to know music theory
and harmony, you have to know the history of music and the repertoire of 
the classical guitar from Mauro Guliani to 
Angel Gilardino so one day you will be... Daniele Magli! ;)

The first pieces of classical guitar music that I composed 
I did make Pdf scores from my friend 
(a teacher of classical guitar ) Graziano Zuin and then 
by my friend Davide Cosmo 
( he is also the webmaster of my guitar website

I gave them the manuscript of my compositions and 
then they made ​​the Pdf score.

But then I figured out how to use the program and I do
 myself  Pdf musical scores of my compositions.

With a free program called Musescore 
( it is very good for me )

so I understand how it could be very important 
to compose music without the guitar, directly 
with the  MuseScore free program.

In this way I  composed many compositions as Child of the Sun , Silent Era,
 Eclipse , Piramyd Mystery, Soul Wind, Serenity... and more.

I use Muse Score as program because is easy ( it is not my sponsor :) )

I use this method to not lose the inspiration. 

Composing music is very relaxing
