                How to compose a piece for classical guitar

Many people ask me "how do you compose a piece of music for classical guitar?"

I do not have the answer about what is inspiration,

I do not know what is genius, 

and where they come from musical ideas.

since I was 14 years old I had in mind as it should be my composition for classical guitar.

Undo editsSo I felt the bass continuum and the open strings but I could not do any thing good.


when I was 14 years old I played a piece very near to my composition  "Apollo 11"

with the thumb plectrum technique

but the problem was I was not so good with my guitar technique and 

I was not able to play it !!!

to compose for clasical guitar you have to be experct 

composing music, is to be a musician, and you need to know music theory
and harmony, you have to know the history of music and the repertoire of 
the classical guitar from Mauro Guliani to 
Angel Gilardino so one day you will be... Daniele Magli! ;)

The first pieces of classical guitar music that I composed 
I did make Pdf scores from my friend 
(a teacher of classical guitar ) Graziano Zuin and then 
by my friend Davide Cosmo 
( he is also the webmaster of my guitar website

I gave them the manuscript of my compositions and 
then they made ​​the Pdf score.

But then I figured out how to use the program and I do
 myself  Pdf musical scores of my compositions.

With a free program called Musescore 
( it is very good for me )

so I understand how it could be very important 
to compose music without the guitar, directly 
with the  MuseScore free program.

In this way I  composed many compositions as Child of the Sun , Silent Era,
 Eclipse , Piramyd Mystery, Soul Wind, Serenity... and more.

I use Muse Score as program because is easy ( it is not my sponsor :) )

I use this method to not lose the inspiration. 

Composing music is very relaxing

Come scegliere un maestro di chitarra classica ( 2019 )

Ciao a tutti

Oggi ho provato a leggere un
forum italiano di chitarra e ho visto
molti "maestri" di chitarra classica
dilettanti e improvvisati.

Per essere un Maestro di Chitarra il minimo è
 essere diplomati al Conservatorio
( Oggi il Diploma di dieci anni è diventato laurea )

è necessario affidarsi solo ai consigli di un musicista professionista però…


                            ATTENZIONE

 Può capitare che maestri di chitarra classica delle
Scuole Medie o dei Licei Musicali
siano raccomandati e non siano buoni musicisti
( Io parlo dell'Italia degli altri paesi non so : ) )

Ma almeno il Diploma di Conservatorio ( oggi laurea )
ce lo avranno si spera.

O la chitarra classica per questi " furbetti della musica"
è solo un mezzo per ottenere uno stipendio sicuro ???


nessun ideale nessuna arte nessuna maestria...

Io spero di no .


ma allora come scegliere un maestro di chitarra classica ?

Asoltate come suona , se vi piace il suo stile è il maestro che cercate.


Prima di accettare qualcuno come vostro Maestro di chitarra classica assicuratevi che :


1) Sia diplomato/laureato al Conservatorio.

2) Abbia fatto un minimo l'artista,
qualche concerto, dei dischi, incisioni,
o almeno un video su YouTube ( almeno uno, dai! ).

3) che vi piaccia il suo stile, il suo modo di suonare... questo è importantissimo !

Diario di bordo ( seconda puntata )

Visto il successo inaspettato della prima puntata
ecco la seconda puntata del mio diario di bordo :
riflessioni, domande e pensieri sul viaggio quotidiano
del chitarrista classico Daniele Magli.

Ovvero vi racconto un po' gli affari miei.

1) Sono appena tornato da Londra dove ho anche visitato il Museo delle Scienze:
che emozione trovarsi davanti il modulo di comando dell'Apollo 10:
ragazzi non scherziamo, è stato un sogno, ho pubblicato la foto sul mio facebook, fantastico.
E poi aerei della seconda guerra mondiale , i primi computer enormi, una bella esperienza davvero.

Sono anche tornato al Tate per rivedere Kandinsky ( c'è il mio quadro preferito )
Mondrian... Picasso...

2) In questo periodo sto elaborando nuove teorie su come risparmiare energie suonando
e nuovi metodi per insegnare le tecniche più difficili della chitarra classica :
se tutto va bene presto tutti i miei allievi saranno dei geni della chitarra.

3) Mi domando come mai tanti chitarristi insegnanti delle scuole medie e licei musicali
 ( certo non tutti , ribadisco non tutti, ma tanti )
siano noti chitarristi-schiappa... essere chitarristi schiappa e musicisti mediocri è il segreto per avere una cattedra in italia?
L'ultima volta che me lo sono chiesto mi hanno radiato a vita da un forum  : ))
 ma voi se volete potete iscrivervi a questo blog e dire la vostra opinione...

Intanto io continuo a domandarmi perchè se uno è noto per non essere mai riuscito nemmeno a tenere
 in mano una chitarra in vita sua e a suonare un pezzo in modo decente , perchè mai lo Stato italiano gli debba dare una cattedra da insegnante di chitarra... che sia una casta anche quella dei professori ??? o forse contano più le raccomandazioni che la bravura??? o detto forse eh ...

Tanto restano chitarristi-schiappa e anche i loro allievi lo sanno.

4)  Dopo aver composto Passion, Eclipse e Silent Era sto continuando a comporre ma al contempo penso che non farò video di miei pezzi per un po' di tempo : guardando il mio sito mi sono accorto di aver fatto i vedeo di 19 mie composizioni , mi serve una pausa di riflessione.
