you guitarists who follow my free

guitar lessons on my YouTube page

you know very well that I think that

the right hand is the heart of the classical guitarist,

That's why I propose these training exercises

together lasting about a minute each and to be performed every day.

Start sculpting the movements of your right hand.

To achieve a high artistic level is the first thing to do

At the same time, start studying one of my

easy compositions for TREMOLO such as

Acqua,

Dolce Canto of the Aliens,

Serptember Sun,

but especially OCEANS.

Guitar Tremolo Technique

Consigli Tecnica Tremolo - in Italiano

Oceans is the easiest because the tremolo is an accompaniment

while the thumb of the right hand performs a

"back and forth" arpeggio on four strings

( Arpeggio Andata e Ritorno in Italian words)

Always following the Magli Guitar Method

and you do this if you like my way of

playing but maybe also my way of composing music for guitar

In the third part of the video you will find

very useful complementary exercises for the TREMOLO

and for the right hand,

to strengthen the weak part of the little finger and ring finger.

EXERCISE 1 Tremolo on one string ( Staccato )

Here you have to play tremolo on one string ( G or B )

lie this : play thumb and stops with ring finger

play ring finger and stops with medium

play medium and stops with index finger

play index finger and sops with thumb...

and so on for a minute or two

Oceans is always arpeggio tremolo formula pami :

thumb, ring finger ( anular), medium, index

but the ami make accompaignment and not the melody

becuse is more important in this case the arpeggio with thumb.

The cords are easy C , E minor, A minor , G

and then D minor , F major seven ( no barré )

make this walk on open strings with i,m and then m.a ( medium and ring finger ) .

alternate m,a it is useful to strengthen the

muscles of the weak part of the right hand

(the one near the little finger)

perform the REST STROKE APOYANDO also

rotating the right hand for a more expressive Segovia Style sound.

By dead weight thumb I mean the right hand thumb falling on

all the strings curving in Segovia Guitar Style towards

the fingertip almost as if it were without nail.

However, nails are important to control the sound,

with nails it is easier to obtain the sound you have decided.

Exercise 6 is just like 4 but faster and repeat 4 time every position

ROLLED CHORDS , are you ready ?

you can roll chords on all the strings you want but always

as written by the composer. For example if a composer wrote a

G major like this, with the simultaneous notes

you can make it become a rolled chords

Respect the notes that the composer has chosen but

feel free to improve your

Snow Downtown is a sad sad tremolo for guitar I composed

thinking about the sadness of the war

and the children who no longer

have a home and a school

because of the bombing!

It is a sad piece of course , play it with rallentato and rubato as I do.
