Classical Guitar Tabs : Apollo 11

Hello everybody,

Apollo 11 is a contemporary classical guitar piece from my 'Lunar Studies'

I composed Apollo 11 to celebrate the 40th Moon Landing Anniversary 1969 - 2009 .

Other LUNAR STUDIES are Armstrong Moon an easy modern arpeggios
and Sea of Tanquility a classical guitar TREMOLO piece. I'm very proud about my compositions!


I played Apollo 11 with plectrum thumb technique called Alzapua technique
( search on youtube : Alzapua technique ).

Left hand : the octaves with index 1 and little finger 4 .

There is always the same bass line over every notes or octaves, except during the arpeggios.

I suggest you to learn the bass line and then you could insert the melody.

The melody on the five string is a little difficult, try it separately.


I think Apollo 11 is a real funny modern pieces to play on classic or acoustic guitar .
